Now that apple has released (I know, not recently, but I’ve been busy) their myTunes widgets, everyone who’s ever wondered, "What does John buy on iTunes?" can now rest easy. Your question has now been answered :)

with 360|Flex Seattle behind me, it’s back to just one day job, at least for a while. Not that XylemCCI got short shrifted before, but at least until Italy and East coast planning gets under way, I’m back to being just a Senior Software Engineer, building cool FLex apps. I kinda like that from time to time :)

Finished the piece of project that I was supposed to finish before leaving, so I’m officially ready to go.
My bag is packed, and just waiting on a few last minute things to be washed, my 360|Flex gear is ready to wear, and my MacBook Pro’s power pack is in my backpack, ready to keep me powered up.
Tom and I have been working feverishly the last few weeks to get all the final ducks in a row, nails nailed down (insert your favorite turn of phrase here), and are so excited to be doing 360|Flex Seattle. If it wasn’t for all that goes into a conference we might do these every month, but anyone who thinks you can pull one of these types of events off in a month, is smokin!
This time has been extra challenging since I’m now working at XylemCCI, (we’re still hiring by the way, Flexers come to Denver! It’s beautiful!!) and Tom is at Workday, both of which demand, and expect our energies, it’s not always an easy balance, ask Tom how cranky I’ve been since my current project went into crunch mode, and I worked 15+ hour days for 3 weeks, I felt like Bruce Banner, there towards the end, Poor Tom.
I leave DIA tomorrow at 12:00 and probably won’t rest until sometime Thursday. Ryan is taking us out for a dinner (it had better be good too!) tomorrow night, I think we’re doing something with Jeff (maybe?) on Saturday night, Sunday begins all the conference fun, then off to visit my grand parents in Brewster….Google map it.
So if you’re not gonna be in Seattle next week, it’s not too late, if you are, make sure to find me and say hello. I’d love to (though I know I won’t be able to) meet every attendees in person.
