There are just too many tradeoffs. And I speak from experience because I had a buyer that absolutely insisted I needed a (PC) tablet and paid the extra to get it for me, and I hated it. It's little, yes. And it's limited, definitely. For a true road warrior I can see how the size and weight would be attractive. But *most* true road warriors are salespeople and their ilk, and they don't need much in the way of advanced applications in general. I travel, but not enough for it to matter. I will continue to haul my MBP "brick" from place to place, until it's time for the next machine. Then I will get another standard-size laptop. Their goal seems singular-make it as light and thin as possible. If you want all the things they took out then you want a MB or MBP. This is a sub-notebook-it's very specific for it's use and type of user. Plus apple is fully focused on as much wireless connections as possible. I've had a MBP for a year and i'm trying to think if i used it other than to install leopard. A 2 gig usb thumb drive seems like a much better way to move stuff around than a disc.
