In 2013 I launched 360|intersect, which is my take on TEDx style events. Think awesome content, minus pretension, plus connection. As much as I love the other events, 360|intersect is what reboots my mind each year, and stokes the creative flames.
I started Ignite Denver, an O’reilly Ignite event, to bring together the best and brightest of Denver to meet, drink and talk to each other. If some one has something interesting to share, they’re welcome. Ignite offers people from widely varying backgrounds to come together and learn new things. Ignite Denver was the first Ignite event in CO. There’s now many.
I successfully launched a coworking space in Denver called Uncubed, which has grown, and moved into the heart of LoDo, and is still where I call home when i need to get out of the home office.
I’m on the organizing committee for Denver Startup Week, leading the team that manages the daily headline events.
In 2014 I was on the team that brought GoCodeCO to life, helping organize the first statewide hackathon challenge. We had 5 events across CO happening the same weekend. I managed Fort Collins. I was also part of the team that organized the mentor check in weekend.
I do event consulting so if you’re interested in organizing a user conference, festival or anything between, drop me a line and let’s grab a coffee. Advice is free, so worse case I can send you on your way with some useful info.
